
Bio
Anna Roth is a fashion designer, maker, and creative from Portland, Oregon. She got her Honors Bachelors of Science in Apparel Design at Oregon State University and found a home working for the University Theatre Costume Shop. There she began building tailoring skills, working with puppets, and apprenticing with a Costume Designer. Anna recently graduated from the MFA in the Fashion Design and Society Program at Parsons, in New York City, where she worked in Parson’s Donghia healthier Material Library sourcing healthier textiles, and integrated her love of performance and puppetry into fashion design debuting at NYFW 2023.
Her current work explores community building through performance, puppetry, and making. She also uses natural dyes and upcycling in her practice and everyday life. Most recently exhibiting her ‘Healing Suits’ with local artists for Woven Riot’s ‘Riveting Roots Community Art Gallery’ in Bed-Stuy.
